The wiper technology division of Wald Antriebe represents technological innovations that meet the needs and expectations of transport users, reduce operational costs and at the same time increase both driver’s and passengers’ safety and comfort.

In addition to our Wald Antriebe proprietary wiper technology we offer a wide range of all Valeo / SWF windscreen wiper systems. Special emphasis is placed on using AquaBlade technology. We design new wiper systems or look for alternatives for old spare parts that are no longer available. We also tailor parts to satisfy your individual needs. Among other things, we can adjust the wiping angle, wiper arm length, change of motors, bearing spacing, couplings and much more.

With the innovative systems like the 2-Sync technology, Wald Antriebe already makes state-of-the-art concepts of tomorrow ready for series production today. 2-Sync reduces the wiper system weight to save space and energy, and significantly increase its efficiency. Each wiper arm is powered by its own motor and synchronized by a dedicated software.

In addition, there is always a version with the revolutionary AquaBlade technology as a modern alternative to the conventional wiper systems. Owing to aqua blades, wind resistance and friction as well as water consumption are so significantly reduced that the AquaBlade systems appear to be up to 50% lighter than conventional systems.

The conventional wiper equipment is represented by a complete portfolio of wiper motors, wiper mechanisms, wiper arms, wiper bearings, wiper blades and compact wiper systems. All systems are available in 12V and 24V versions.

WIPER SYSTEMS

Parallel Systems

Parallel wiper systems consist of two individual arms and are typically driven by a concentric motor. The motor motion is transmitted to the wiper arms via levers and rod assembly. Parallel systems can be positioned both above and below the windscreen.

Butterfly Systems

Butterfly wiper systems consist of two individual arms and are typically driven by a concentric motor. The motor motion is transmitted to the opposite movement of the wiper arms via levers, rod assembly and the triangular plate. This system is used for large, rectangular windscreens, e.g. in buses.

Pantograph Systems

Compact pantograph wiper systems consist of one or two arms driven together. From a rider’s perspective, the arms are linked and ensure a very straight wiping pattern. Pantograph systems are particularly suitable for tall, narrow windscreens like those used in construction vehicles, trains and cabins.

Stand-up Systems

Stand-up systems consist of two arms driven by a concentric motor. At least one arm is vertical, the other arm can also be vertical or horizontal. The system ensures a very good wiping pattern with minimal disturbance of the driver’s field of vision.

Simple Systems

Simple systems consist of only one wiper arm driven by a concentric motor. The system’s movement pattern is formed by a diversion of rotary movements by means of levers and bearings. This system is suitable for small windscreens, e.g. in construction vehicles, for rear screen wipers in automobile manufacturing and for additional wiper systems in body construction.

Triple Systems

Triple systems are used for very wide and flat windscreen geometries, e.g. in trucks. Here, all three arms are driven by levers, joint rods and support of just one concentric motor.
